Holiday Tilda ;0)

Hi Crafty Bloggers

How are we all ? Are you having a good week ! The sun has gone it's so sad !! the good news is that I  am paying away when the rain's out ! I have made a seaside /holiday creation to cheer us up until the sun returns !! I have used waterlily Tilda . I Have not made a step card for awhile ! and they are brilliant fun to decorate !!

I coloured her quite lightly with my primsa's. I have used Magnolia Peony , Swirly Tag & Dragonfly doohickeys. The super papers , ribbon & Chipboard are from Kaiserrcraft. Lastly I have added some mesh for texture and some brown roses. I used distress inks to colour the chipboard and the peony .

TIP - Don't put to many heavy items on your main panel as it won't stand up for long !! . When using doohickeys in cuttlebug I use an extra bit of thick card on top that way I get a clearer cut every time . I also put it back and forward a few times to make sure.

I would like to enter my creation into the following wonderful challenges !!

Teddybo Tuesday New Challenge ;0)

Hi Crafty Bloggers

How are we all fairing in this glorious sunshine here in the U.K ! I have burnt my arms a wee bit and have been soaking up the Vitamin D lol ! . Even Mr Kiefe our cat has been sunbathing and is rarely in  though Suzie our greyhound doesn't like it too hot for her baldy bits lol !!

It's Teddybo Tuesday and the start of our fortnightly challenge !! The new challenge for the Jubilee is Red , White & Blue with a bit of Bling !! there are so many super new images today !! with a Royal theme ! It's so much fun being British with all that's going on just now and I do love a bit of bling lol

Here's what's new in store today !!

I have chosed Teddybobea_129 such lovely detail to colour in . If you love colouring in then you will love these !

I have made a free standing pop up card from a tutorial you can find here.I did adjust the length to  make the card 6 inch squared . I have used these super fun digital papers from Nitwits called London too and used the flags & heart from that collection. I have added lots of bling like the bling button , charm and swirl flourishes from the ribbon girl.

Top Tips - I think next time I would colour the chair behind her in a lighter colour so she would stand out more !! I have used metallic pencils on the chair too to make it more royal they were in my prismacolor pencil tin and have hardly used them . I did not do much blending on this as the colours are so rich ! just used varying shades of blue. The flower I have used a jellyroll white pen to make faux stitching really stands out against the navy card !

I hope you can pop on over and see all the D'Ts fabulous creations/ inspiration and hope you will join us in this fun Challenge .

Just to let you know that in the latest issue of Simply cards and papercraft magazine have free large Teddybo stamps and gorgeous papers so why not check it out !!

I hope you will also pop by the challenge blog on Wordy Wednesday for some inspiration on quotes and sayings !!
I would like to enter my creation into another fun challenge at Papertake weekly - True Colours

No Pencils !!!

Hi Crafty Bloggers

Hope you are all having a great weekend with this super weather !! It's been so hot we are just not used to it here !! Can't remember the last time I opened my window during the night ! Hope it lasts !
I have been crafting away !!

I had the urge to use distress inks again I was so rusty, had a couple of practice shots first ! I really was inspired by some of my favorite blogs to get using them again !! I have chosen Magnolia Cuddly siblings and I wanted to have a go at painting a little scene ! So here goes lol

I really enjoyed painting the flowers and the grass !! I just used random dots for the flowers and light stokes for the grass. I also used a white gel pen for some highlights.

I have used these stunning Kaisercraft Charlotte's Dreams papers and their Rose Ribbon so so pretty ! The frame I cut from the Cindy Loo Cartridge and then embossed with a cuttlebug folder. I stamped a papermania Wedding stamp with memento brown ink onto a piece from the paper pad and just added a few little Kiasercraft gems . I also used Magnolia Doohickey Dragonfly die and I thought I would do a top tip every post something I have discovered/learnt !

TOP TIP - If you use the Magnolia Doohickey Swirly tag die just cut it up you get the most beautiful corners by cutting at an angle ! I have added it in green to the top of the card just tucked behind the frame !! It looks so pretty ;0).

Lastly there is a piece of Kaisercraft lace !

No recipe today as I have pretty much described it all lol !
I would like to enter my creation into the following super challenges !!

Anyone for a Gin & Tonic ?  lol

I have chosen Teddybo_172 "The Cocktail Price" He is just so handsome !! I made a card for my father In Law for Father's Day this was the perfcet image as he is quite partial to a few Gin & Tonics and he is always is a brilliant host when we go up North as he is always filling up our glasses. The last time I was a bit tipsy and fell over their gorgeous log thing filled with lovely flowers lol . Hopefully no one noticed lol told the Stamp Monster of course and he went out and saved me by rearranging the plants back !!

I used these papers and buttons from Nitwits London collection . I coloured him with prismacolor pencils and used Stampin Up card to Mat . I cut the little mats using scissors like a fringe for something diffrenent. Lastly I used the sewing machine on the cut out buttons and around the panels !! Her school shirt was all signed by the teachers and pupils ! They are all celebrating by going to the movies !! to see American Pie the reunion ! I quite fancy that might convince the stamp monster to take me !!

It's Totally Tilda Time today when a super new challenge starts ! The theme is Princess Tilda in a pink dress ! It's the perfect opportunity to get all girlie !! the challenge is to celebrate our wonderful Boss Susie's Birthday !! I chose Tilda catching stars !! Teddybo Tuesday & Button Up !!!

Hi Crafty Bloggers

I am having a crazy week !! Our couch potato greyhound Suzie decided to chew the power cable for my laptop !! Using Teenagers PC yet again lol until postman arrives with new one ! It's the teenagers last week at school ever ! ( except for exams coming up) so she is on a high they are all having T- shirts signed on Friday as a memento ! To be honest it was a pretty rubbish school/area so I am glad she is finishing ! They do a prank on thier school too on their last day they have not decided yet ! Last year 6th year put vaseline all over every door handle and toilet seat in the whole school ! It's all a bit crazy huh !

Anyway enough rambling lol and onto this weeks brilliant new graphics from Gayle at Teddybo ! Why not take a look at all the cool crafting products in the shop too ;0)

The new challenge starts today " Button Up" Use buttons on your project ! I have chosen Teddybea_203 !

I have coloured her with prisma colour pencils and cut a bit off cheesecloth behind her ! The papers are Shabby Chic from Rasperry Road . First of all I had an idea to have two pieces of material one with buttonholes and the other side buttons but I just could not master the button holes but I will keep trying there is no instructions for my mums old sewing machine and my mum is senile so she can't help me lol maybe there is an attachment I need to use ? Instead I made this wee pocket with a ribbon at the top which I tacked to make it ruffled. I used my cricut and flower shoppe cartridge to make the Chinese roses . A wee touch of stickles and liquid pearls and that's it ! I decorated the inside with another  pocket and buttons from ebay with a little sewing kit inside the pocket ! but my pictures are all on my laptop !! that has no power !! and my friend pinched the card already lol !

The challenge is on for a fortnight so plenty time to play in the challenge and why not have a look at all the girls cool designs !!  I will be back at The Teddybo Challenge for Wordy Wednesday so why not check it out !

Bye For Now
Lots of Crafty Hugs
