The Sketchy Challenges #84 My Sketch & Favourite Colour Combo's

Hi Crafty Bloggers
How are we all ?? The weather is just non stop rain here in Scotland  at the minute with a sprinkling of snow in between lol !! ...roll on spring ;0)

It is time for a brand new challenge at
this month with a sketch designed by myself ..here it is using

papers called perfect petals...just love them they are so pretty ;0)

I have used these papers on a recycled notebook where I  have machine stitched them and used a spellbinders circle to cut her.

She is Birthday Marci from La La Land crafts . I have used a combination of distress ink reinkers ..markers and pads to colour her onto Langton cold pressed aquarelle paper.
This is my favourite colour combination MINT & LILAC at the moment and is the theme to the challenge you can use the sketch ...theme or both !! there is lots of fantastic inspiration on the blog from our talented guest designer and our Sketchy designers so why not pop on over for all the details including the great prize from our sponsor MIcheleRdesigns !!!

I have added some feathers and liquid pearl dots around her . The candles and sentiment are also with the stamp set ..great value .
I have cut some banners free hand for the sentiment and wrapped them around a vintage straw from Live & Love Crafts and popped a Mellissa Francis pearl on top .

The envelope is from elements to go with the digi papers from MicheleRdesigns

I  have used a prima butterfly stamp on these gorgeous papers
and nib from the set from LLC .

I have made an pocket inside for some tags too with another envelope !!

Here is the back finished with some paper from LOTV

I hope you like my decorated notebook and are inspired to enter the challenge <3

Notebook#2

Hi Crafty Bloggers

Here is my second decorated notebook...so much fun to make . I have chosen For You Tilda coloured on Langton cold press paper with a mixture of distress ink reinkers, pads and markers where I have used a Spellbinders die to cut the shape and have edged the panels with studio gesso and matted
 in between a papermania doily,

The design papers are digi papers free from activity village online and were printed onto neenah cardstock with my canon pixma printer. The bow if rom Marianne design with a heart brad in the center and underneath are some Kort & Godt rolled paper flowers.

I have layered cheesecloth under the panels for texture and added a heart pin and some charms lightly coated with gesso and finished with some glitter on top .

I have machine stitched all the panels and die cut tags on the inside pocket with the Magnolia Doohickey tag

I hope you like my notebook

Notebook No 1

Hi Crafty Bloggers

I am sharing a  notebook that I have decorated . I had received a gorgeous decorated notebook from my dear bloggy friend and just had to have a go at making one and then made two and I am going to make more lol .

Here is my first one I used recycled spiral notebooks that I found on sale at ebay !! bargain . I found gorgeous free digital papers from activity village online and printed then onto neenah cardstock with my canon pixma printer and matted them onto kraft cardstock with my sewing machine. They matched perfectly with some LOTV papers I had too . I have added mini pom pom trim and rose trim from Live & Love Crafts . The corner dies are embossed with white embossing powder .

I have coloured sakura New Year Tilda with a mixture of distress ink reinkers pads and markers and used a spellbinders die to make the shaker frame and filled it with stampendous lavender crushed glitter and twinklets diamond dust.

I have used some cheesecloth for texture and printed the sentiment from images from the web and matted it on craft card and finished with an ideology pin and some gorgeous lilac gingham ruffle ribbon and clay hearts all from

I have used several Magnoilia doohickey dies including the vintage daisy with a doodlebug glittered brad in the center and some Martha Stewart pearls.

I have decorated the inside with a pocket and some Magnolia Doohickey jolly tags with twine.

I hope you like my notebook and are inspired to make one . I would like to enter my creation into the following super challenge !!
